This magnificent antique Persian Heriz carpet from the early 20th Century (circa 1920) bears an exquisite design rendered in gorgeous, warm hues of red, charcoal, and light blue. A highly stylized geometric center medallion anchors the rug and is surrounded by numerous geometric patterns and floral motifs. A complementary border of complex, entwined patterns frames the entire piece. Colors include red, light blue, salmon pink, light green, charcoal, ivory, cream, and yellow.
