Antique Turkish Oushak

This impressive antique Oushak, composed of organic motifs and an exquisite array of soft colors, will bring an impressive amount of beauty and refined sophistication to any room. Fashioned in Turkey during the late 19th Century, this rug displays a large, open, cream background filled with beautiful flowers and palmettes in green, blush, apricot and light blue. The diamond-shaped center medallion, various floral motifs and understated corner palmettes are in pale tangerine. A broad border contains pale lemon and cream, with various organic motifs in robin’s egg blue and apricot.
