Antique Turkish Oushak Carpet

Selected from our masterpiece collection, this rare Oushak composed of organic motifs in an exquisite array of soft colors will bring an impressive amount of beauty and refined sophistication to any room. Fashioned in Turkey during the late nineteenth century, this rug displays an open background of rich gold and pale green. The large center medallion and corner motifs are comprised of delicate steel blue, various blues, salmon, ivory and very pale greens. A broad and simplified boarder, indicative of Oushaks, contains an ivory and pale green background with various organic motifs in pale blues, greens, pinks and gold.
