This antique Kazak, from the late 19th century, showcases three distinctive medallions that identify it as an antique Kazak. The field pattern has latch hooks mandalas consistent with Kaza-Bordjalou, the green ground and boxed double rams’ horns evoke Kazak-Karachov carpets and the rare, early border also reflects Bordjalou roots. Despite its old age, this rug has maintained its strong and vibrant colors.
