This exquisite carpet has the best of both worlds; the magnificent bold geometry and openness of a Serapi along with the stunning colors of the early Heriz and Goravan Carpets. A large multifaceted medallion of Midnight Blue, Various Reds, Green, Blues and Bone rests upon a field in various shades of Terra Cotta. The field is further filled with spandrels and branching geometric patterns in shades of Red, Blue, Green and Bone. The Midnight Blue border contains a repeating geometric pattern of the same colors mentioned to harmoniously complete the composition of this beautifully stylized antique rug. 10`5 X 11`8
