This amazing antique Malayer rug from the early 20th century, circa 1920, Iran was handwoven and bears a remarkably unique all-over floral design rendered in rich reddish brown, light blue, and gray tones. Vining blossom extend from the centre of the field outward toward the complementary main and guard borders. The combination of its early period creation and its one-of-a-kind design makes this a rare and desirable piece.
