This magnificent antique Persian Heriz-Serapi carpet (circa 1900) from the early 20th Century bears an exquisite design rendered in gorgeous, warm hues of red and various shades of blue. A highly stylized geometric, cross-shaped center medallion anchors the rug and is surrounded by numerous geometric patterns. A complementary border of complex, entwined patterns frames the entire piece. Colors include navy blue, red, salmon pink, ivory, cream, light blue, light green, and olive green.
