This magnificent antique Persian circa 1900 Serapi carpet bears an exquisite geometric design rendered in gorgeous, warm hues of Rich red and various shades of dark blue, light blue, salmon, green, pale yellow, cream, ivory and coral. A highly stylized geometric center medallion anchors the rug and is surrounded by numerous geometric patterns and sub geometric motifs. A complementary border of repeating, entwined patterns frames the entire piece.
