This magnificent antique Persian Heriz carpet from the early 20th century bears an exquisite design rendered in gorgeous, warm hues of red and various shades of blue. A highly stylized geometric center medallion anchors the rug and is surrounded by numerous geometric patterns and floral motifs. A complementary border of complex, entwined patterns frames the entire piece. Colors include light blue, navy blue, olive, green, ivory, deep red and faint red.
